Spry VPS Review

Here is what Joe Kingsbury had to say about Spry and the overall experience with their Virtual Private Servers hosting service.
Although I've been in the web hosting business since 2000, I only switched to this Spry VPS recently.

I've been with Spry for about a month. So far, my experience with them have been quite positive, although it can be better! I'm used to account being set up in less than an hour. But theirs took more than a day because their sales don't work on weekends! Duh... Sites are loading fast.

So far I think they have one of the best value-for-money package around. Features wise is excellent for my needs. Price is acceptable to me too. Neither the most expensive nor the cheapest. It's pretty good value for money as far as VPS is concerned. (My advice is: Don't give away your online presence to the cheapest vendor!)

If you're very well versed with Linux, WHM, you can go for Spry. The fact that they've been around since 1995 says that they're something right about their business!

I'll observe their service and uptime for a couple of months before re-posting here again.

Although it's not a major complaint, the Spry support is not as fast as I wish it to be mainly because I'm used to my previous host's response time of between 5 to 15 minutes. But theirs can range anything from 15 to a number of hours. It's still bearable so far because the ticket was not urgent anyway.

But I did have a not so pleasant experience with one of the support guys who didn't seem to understand my message or didn't bother to read it carefully at all! What could be a 5 minutes solution took more than an hour to solve! If only he had bother to read my message carefully...
