VPS Link unfortunately seems to be a guy running a VPS server out of his basement, who has a full time job somewhere else, only offering support on the weekdays, after he gets off work.

Here's what Matt Andreko had to say about VPSLink's Customer Support:

I initially signed up as a level 1 service VPS, because the price was so tempting. I found that I needed more, because I couldn't even compile certain apps I needed, due to running out of memory. I contacted them to upgrade me to level 3 service. I couldn't find a phone number on their site at all. I talked to them through a web-chat client, which took several minutes to connect, and then the representative was slow to respond, and never directly answered my questions. I had to keep directing them to give me an answer. The next day, after requesting a move to level 3 service, I had a support ticket opened automatically, which instead moved me from 1 month billing, to 3 month billing. I asked them to correct this on a Friday at 10AM EST. It was not addressed until Monday morning.
