Based in Phoenix, AZ, StartLogic Inc. is founded in November 2003 by Thomas Gorny. While the hosting company is relative new in the business, they are building up pretty fast. At the time of writing, they are hosting more than 100,000 domains.

StartLogic is a Linux VPS hosting company and offers three virtual private server plans including VPSLogic, VPSLogic Pro, and VPSLogic Premium. StartLogic is a Plesk Linux VPS provider that offers up to 60GB disk space, up to 2TB bandwidth, up to 100 hostable domains, and up to 512MB guaranteed RAM with 2GB burstable RAM.

StartLogic VPS pricing is about average compared to other Linux VPS hosts listed on VPS hosting reviews. StartLogic is another VPS company that expects their customers to prepay up to one year in advance with a minimum of a three month commitment. StartLogic does not currently offer a monthly pricing plan for their virtual private servers which we think is a mistake.

StartLogic VPS Hosting - Reliability Review

When StartLogic first started, they began a massive marketing campaign that jump started a massive influx of customers that StartLogic seemed to struggle handling. Over time, customers continued to struggle with StartLogic web hosting and experienced a lot of reliability problems.

Since then, StartLogic was purchased by a web hosting conglomerate Endurance International Group and service has improved. Endurance moved all existing customers to their own platform and servers and we've seen a lot less complaints about the StartLogic reliability.

Endurance is still known to overload web servers to fit enough customers on a web server in order to turn a profit. However, Endurance appears to have a much better handle on web hosting in general. As for StartLogic VPS plans, there haven't been many reviews posted. StartLogic is mainly known for their shared web hosting services and they haven't really made a push for their newer virtual private server offering.

StartLogic VPS Hosting - Customer Support Review

StartLogic customer support is the leading cause of most negative reviews they receive. Based on recent feedback received by VPS hosting reviews and other independent review websites, the most common complaint regarding StartLogic customer support is that they outsource customer support and the staffed support agents are obviously not speaking English as their primary language.

Many complaints regarding StartLogic support are inability to understand questions, inability to quickly solve easy issues without rewording your questions, and slow response times when the ticket system is used.
