Account setup took about 2 hours, but was fully patched and ready for work as soon as I received the access information.

I pay $30.00 for a Spry Xen VPS that allows me to run custom kernel modules and gives me full root access.

Spry VPS is extremely affordable and provides a quality "as advertised" service. The connectivity is great, with routes out to (at least) XO, Cogent, Level3 and Mzima.
