NetFirms is a Plesk Linux VPS provider that offers three VPS packages including NetFirms VPS S-1, NetFirms VPS S-2, and NetFirms VPS S-3. NetFirms currently offers up to 1,536MB RAM, up to 60GB disk space, and up to an unlimited amount of bandwidth depending on the plan you choose.

All NetFirms VPS servers use Parallels Virtuozzo virtualization solutions and the CentOS 5 operating system. Combined with the power of the Parallels Plesk and the NetFirms Control Panel administration features, NetFirms offers a product that is guaranteed to thrill you.

The NetFirms brand new servers are built for your peace of mind. All NetFirms virtual private storage resides on a SAN (storage area network) that is clustered with hot standby servers for backup. And for optimum access and control, NetFirms maintains best practice security measures at their tier one datacenter located on site at the NetFirms offices. This includes video surveillance, backed-up power generators, independent climate controls, and an advanced fire detection system.

NetFirms virtual private server pricing is higher than average for VPS hosting based on other featured hosts listed on VPS host reviews. Currently, the cheapest monthly NetFirms VPS account is $49.95 with 512MB RAM, 20 GB disk space, and 1,000 GB bandwidth. This is priced significantly higher than the average VPS prices we've seen for Plesk Linux VPS hosting.

NetFirms VPS Hosting - Reliability Review

NetFirms has pretty good reliability. Though we have seen complaints about NetFirms (impossible to please everyone in this market unless you charge a premium price), we've found NetFirms to be pretty reliable.

Some customers have complained that their servers are slow which may indicate that the servers are overloaded or power users are allowed to resource hog which reduces quality for all customers.

NetFirms customer support has a reputation of being slow to respond to technical issues related to web hosting. Based on our independent review, we've found the customer support options to be pretty good, however, there are too many reviews regarding poor customer support on other websites and resources for us to conclude that NetFirms should receive a 2/5 review for now. Based on our review of their customer support options, NetFirms is very proactive with their customers and have their phone numbers and support options in an easy to find place under the 'Contact Us' page. The only thing NetFirms does not currently offer is a discussion forum for their community to express views, seek help, and to help others.
