The service is implemented on a system-stack that features AMD 3400-3800+ MicroProcessors, Red Hats bleeding-edge OS Fedora Core 6 x86_64 (Zod), GigE bandwidth availability. The system is hosted out of CBOT/FDC Data Center in Chicago.
Our Unmetered service means that there are no arbitrary bandwidth limits placed on your server transfers. Therefore, you don't have to worry about overage charges or your server being shutdown because it went over the bandwidth limit. This however, does not mean unlimited bandwidth as there is no such thing; your server bandwidth is ultimately limited by the OFF-NET port speed. All servers share the OFF-NET port and can burst up to the full capacity during traffic spikes. We have established guidelines on responsible bandwidth utilization and those guidelines are enforced by our AUP/TOS policy to ensure that shared resources are used responsibly.
