Far too many outages. Support only through trouble tickets is impossible to stomach in dire situations. You can NEVER speak to a support rep by phone, period. Sales reps are forced to give you tech support in best case situations.
While the prices are good, at one time after a year I finally got a manager to speak to me and he gave me additional bandwidth, cpu and such, but six months later problems arose again and like the previous 5 outages, I could not get real answers.

Again, support is by trouble tickets only. While this is acceptable for asking to have a server restarted when it won't respond for you, it is completely unacceptable at just about any other level of need. There is seems to be a company directive to not explain details of outages other than to point ambiguously at you the customer. I've been told I've used up too many resources but when I look at the VPS control panel resources I see I'm topping out at 60 percent. Trouble tickets are never closed by JaguarPC staff. The list goes on.

The server will run for a two month stint and need one restart. Apache may go down independantly from the mail server so you must be vigilant.

Great pricing but the service has cost me over 50 accounts of mine. I should have left a long time ago. They certainly could care less that you lose customers of yours, their single problem is you so if you lose customers due to their poor service, you may as well not complain about it to them. Two years of service (which I'm now ending) is proof enough.

Got me set up easily. When a sales rep was supporting me (tech support) for upgrades, they knew what they were doing and did it while on phone. Yes... the only person I had on the phone to help was a sales rep, I can't stress that enough.

I've historically run my own co-located servers. With the changing economy I went with a VPS solution to save on the cost of a full time system admin. With VPS your server is taken care of by others. Your only cost is the monthly fee.
I can't say a managed dedicated server would do any better as it really comes down to the support team behind the name.
JaguarPC has support members that do respond to Trouble Tickets timely but it seems those fixes more times than not are band-aid fixes that seem to always lead to the need for an upgrade without concrete reasons why. I've insisted to speak to a manager and still not received any contact. As a customer of two years, it was a mistake to use JaguarPC as they cost me many customers due to their lack of solid support. If you are a growth oriented hosting provider they are not for you. If you have a small or finite number of customers whom never use too much e-mail, never spike in traffic, and never use resources from time to time, perhaps they will service you well, but who among us doesn't have one or two customers that spike things from time to time. You decide if I'm just a complainer or if I've been a patient fool with my business. I can't recommend this provider.
