Gate pricing is about average compared to other hosting plans available. Their entry level plan is $29.95 a month with 256MB RAM installed on their Linux VPS plan and $49.95 with 512MB RAM installed on their Windows VPS plan.

The Gate Windows VPS pricing is $20 more per plan with comparable resources, disk space, and bandwidth. This $20 difference is due to Windows requiring licensing from Microsoft whereas Linux is open source and free to the web host.

The one drawback of Gate is they require a $19.95 setup fee to setup your VPS account. Most other VPS hosting companies do a free setup.
