EasyCGI VPS Hosting - Editor's Review
Although EasyCGI is a Windows web hosting provider, they do not currently offer a Windows VPS on their site like they have in years past. EasyCGI is a Linux VPS provider that specializes in Linux Plesk VPS hosting.
We find it very strange that EasyCGI does not offer a Windows VPS plan for their Windows hosting customers. If these Windows hosting customers need an upgrade to a stronger web hosting account, it appears they won't be able to. This will leave their Windows hosting customers looking for a different Windows hosting company that offers a Windows Virtual Private Server.

For the EasyCGI Linux Plesk VPS offer, we find the EasyCGI pricing to be very high compared to other web hosts offering Plesk Linux VPS plans. Currently, for the introductory plan, you will pay $49.95 monthly for just 256 MB RAM, 512 MB burstable, and 20GB disk space.
EasyCGI VPS Hosting - Reliability Review
VPS Host Reviews has received some complaints regarding EasyCGI's reliability. Some report problems with their web hosting either going offline, becoming inaccessible, or being unresponsive. Other customers, on the contrary, have reported great Windows web hosting service through EasyCGI.
Overall, based on our research, we rank EasyCGI as average for reliability. The positive and negative reviews basically cancel out. Our recommendation: please do your own research, email their customer support, see how long they take to reply (are they overloaded with work?), and come to your own conclusion before making your web hosting purchase.
EasyCGI VPS Hosting - Customer Support Review
EasyCGI customer support appears to be very responsive in our tests. We just started a live chat session with EasyCGI to ask about their control panel and was provided with a representative within seconds of the start of live chat and we had a response to our question within 20 seconds.
EasyCGI appears to take customer support very seriously. EasyCGI offers:- Toll-free Telephone sales and customer support
- Live chat (responded immediately for us)
- Ticket system (requires login)
- An online support console (requires login)
- Up to date knowledgebase that has articles dated very recently
- Frequently asked questions
EasyCGI currently doesn't offer an international telephone support option and they do not offer a community forum section. EasyCGI requires a login to submit a ticket which can prove problematic if a new customer wants to get in touch with EasyCGI to ask questions during a time when their live chat might be unavailable. EasyCGI has also made it impossible for an international client to get pre-sales support when their live chat goes offline because they do not offer a phone number or any other way to contact them without already being a customer.
Overall, we rank EasyCGI above average for customer support. They do offer many options for most people and offer everything we require for existing customers. Without the above mentioned problem, we might have been able to rank EasyCGI as exceptional.
