Here is what Michael Moore had to say about KnownHost and the overall experience with their Virtual Private Servers hosting service.

Aside from the last reviewer, the other reviews were obviously done by the same person... which is unfortunate, because it makes it look like KH is possibly touting itself, although unlikely because it really doesn't have to. I came across KH through relationships with other service providers, so had a pretty good knowledge of their service before jumping in.

Account Setup Feedback

I had no issues with account setup, same day and answered all of my questions. They also performed seamless migrations for me, server to server.

Host Reliability

Had a couple of FTP glitches at one point, but the issue was resolved. Overall, no site downtime or slowdowns that I've noticed, which is what it's all about.

Pricing Info

Prices there are decent, although not as cheap as some. But when you consider the level of support they are providing, it works out to be an outstanding deal. Just have one bad support experience with a VPS provider, and tell me what that was worth to you, or how much money you lost with your site being down. It's not all about the ram/memory/etc.

Final Host Comments

Go to the KnownHost website, and check out their forum. It is open for public viewing. You will notice that most everyone is happy. Knowhost has had it's share of bumps along the road like every host does but has handled them better than most. This is a solid, top-tier web host.

The support is email based only. This always makes me pause - but with KH, it has been probably the first time I have seen email-only support actually work. Over a year later, I send support requests with the expectation of hearing back same day, usually within a couple of hours. They offer full management so they no doubt get a lot of requests, yet are always courteous and accommodating.
